Back to the 'Bloody Mara' Part Two

First part click here.

We knew that, when we undertook this trip, it could in no way compare with last year's safari. That trip was way too incredible, way too amazing, way too stunning. We were, as it turns out, way too wrong.

We have now finished our first week, dazed by another 'Bloody Mara' experience. Over 20,000 photos just from this week alone. Ok, it is true that my over-enthusiastic camera has beguiled me into using its full force in the most unnecessary situations. Thirty frames a second for a stationary elephant is a little over-the-top. Control of this wild machine has yet to be enforced. Give me time.

So here are a few more tasters from this incredible, unbelievable and completely knackering experience.

Dawn in the Serengeti.

Nature huh?

Now we head to the Eastern Serengeti. Be patient...
