This year through my lens...

Xmas newsletters are generally of little interest to anyone except the author. They come in two forms: honest and boring, or humorous and boring. So I've decided to go for the boring one...

We have had the most amazing year!  Well, maybe not as great as 1977, which, as many of you will remember, was pretty bloody good. Except for the bad bits. Those final exams were a lot of fun. So much fun I did them twice. No. May this year was even better than that one.

Anyway, I'm going to cheat and simply repeat videos I've previously bored you with. So, fasten your seatbelts. Here we go:

Hmm, hang on. This video doesn't seem to move much, but but at least it shows you how the Pyrenees are no longer their usual winter white colour.

And I included this as a photo because the actual video was too scary.

The snow-canons in the Pyrenees had a hurculean task...

As Maman is now happily ensconced near lots of her family close to Paris, we have decided not to sell our pyrenean homestead and instead make more use of it.

We just love the Pyrenees, but other parts of France are available...

Talking of Maman being close to lots of her family, here are a small selection...

Meanwhile, back to the videos... my half of the family appears to have got bigger too...

We had two big trips this year. The first was to Vancouver for a family wedding on a boat. A big boat. A very big boat. Here is a taster...

*

Our summer holiday was on the Atlantic coast. The word I'm searching for could be 'exhausting'...

And for those few of you who haven't seen the film of the book, here's a précis of our two weeks in Tanzania. This is the directors cut, with improved sound and upscaled video. And scary animals...

On coming home from Africa, another scary animal. Another addition to the family; Lisa & Will's son Theo.

So from us two young lovers to all of you; have a very happy festive season.

Or else...
