Just when you thought that you were safe...
You may not have noticed, but there has been a definite lack of missives from me of late. After the barrage of bloody blogs late last year (starting here) this will have left many of you in a state of concerned disinterest.
This deficit is not due to me having passed on to a better place (no, not even Clapton) nor due to the world coming to an overheated demise. (Next year maybe?)
No, it is actually due to the amazing fact that I haven't posted any blogs lately. Crazy huh?
Photography may have only been my second love, (the first being... something else) but now life, the universe and everything seem to have placed even that under significant pressure. Relax, be happy, your concerns are not necessary. Having spent the last few months mastering a new picture box (R5m2 instead of my old R2d2) in-between battling against garden, offspring, heatwaves and age, I feel that I am now ready to embark on our next Safari this coming October.
Following that you may be further enchanted by an astonishing two visits to Tanzania next year, one of which is to be a photo-safari in where else but the Serengeti. (If you are interested and have more money than sense, then let me know. More details to follow.)
In the meantime, I'll try to catch up with a few delayed blogs if for no other reason than to replenish my failing memory.
If you want to refresh your own failing memory of photos from our last African extravaganza, click on the above photo (linked to my website) or take the easy way out and watch this video:
Watch out for the first new difficult-to-avoid episodes coming this October, November, and for an interminable time afterwards...
Also, if you wish to improve you sleep score, try these books (with ultra-cheap kindle versions and ludicrously expensive hard-back versions):
in English: Endless Forms Series.
In French: Formes Infinies
